I just received this alto saxophone today and played for awhile. It has a beautiful tone! I have been playing soprano saxophone for years, so I have some experience with saxes. This alto sax seems to have good workmanship combined with a beautiful appearance. I did a lot of research before buying -- I didn't want to spend too much but didn't want to waste money on junk. I think this horn was a really good choice.

I purchased a Cecilio Blue Lacquer Alto Saxophone Kit a few months ago.
The overall appearance of the instrument is pretty good for the price.
The tone and playability is also very good for the price.
I have had problems with the Blue Lacquer coming off on the neck of the instrument and on the back side of the bell.
I went to a local hobby shop and purchased some model airplane paint the
same color and have touched it up so it does not look so bad.
I feel that the lacquer peeling off in this manner is a definite rip off
so I cannot recommend this instrument.

We bought a used sax a few years ago when our son switched from clarinet, and it cost a hundred bucks more than this one! Brad is very happy with this product. It's very unique looking, beautiful, and has a great sound. His music teacher was very pleased also. Thanks for a quality product and wonderful service.

"Head in the clouds"
This saxophone is amazing it has a nice clear tone and is very stylish. Before i had this sax i had a worthless peice of junk and i couldnt play with all my potential now im 1st chair in my orchestra at school. I love my sax.
