 Well padded, but too small Dec 09, 2010

The case seems to be well constructed, but my saxophone didn't fit. It is a 30 year old Bundy and the bell came up a bit higher that the case had room for. Also, the case was too short to leave the "fuzzy bopper" in.

I got this case for my daughter who is in grade school. I was worried about it being firm enough to protect the instrument, but is is great. The strap works well in being able to carry it with her other bags. Nice room in the case and pockets on the side. Over all a great buy.

Gift for my son for Christmas, as one reviewer said it does at first appear too small but the design is for compactness as opposed to my son carrying around the pice of luggage hard case. It did take a little work getting the Sax in the first time but the zipper did close all the way and it did not appear to be stressed, we have left in in the bag over the holidays to allow the bag to stretch and conform to the horn. The padding is good and it has an outer zippered pouch for accessories and misc items. I will try and update this review once school starts back up and he has given it a workout and a few runs back and forth to school on the bus....

I think that this case was somewhat small after first getting it out. The curve for the bell of the saxophone is in the wrong place. Other than it being snug (and I'm sure it will stretch a bit) a great case.

I bought this for my 11 year old to tote the instrument to school. He loves it. It is light-weight and durable enough to protect the instrument. It has pocket areas to store extra reeds and cleaning implements. It provides a very easy and convenient way for him to carry the Sax to and from school.
