An Excellent Portable Stand Jul 28, 2011
By Joe Y. I've gone through a number of stands over the years and this is, by far, my favorite.
A couple of what I consider it's top selling points: - It's Rock-Solid - I've seen my horn bumped a few times and the firm grip and low center of gravity have kept my horn safe - Super compact - folded it will fit in the bell of your horn - Great for doubling - if you kick it over, one of the legs sticks straight up in the air and acts as a flute/clarinet stand. I wouldn't put a soprano on it though.
And now for the cons: - Pricey - you can get a Hamilton Chrome stand that folds down pretty well for less than half the price - Slower to assemble, disassemble than the Hamilton folding stands as well - will only cover one additional instrument - with many other stands you have two pegs for double - not sure about the longevity of the rubber foot covers, but they're ok so far - the stand holds onto your horn so well that you may need to hold the stand down while picking up your horn to separate them
Despite the cons, I'm still a huge fan of this stand and recommend it to any saxophonist.
Saxxy Sax Stand is perfect Dec 04, 2010
By M. Nakamura Alto sax fits perfectly. Stand is stable, never collapsed when used. Stored in a velvet bag and fits nicely in the bell of the sax. Unfolding it is a bit of a puzzle the first time, and is fun to watch friends try to figure it out. Used at home and by high school band student.

Originally released in 1959, Miles Davis's magnum opus Kind of Blue is still considered by many to be one of the greatest albums of all time. Starring Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb, Kind of Blue has held onto its status as an album that crosses genres, speaks to generations, and is one of the first (if not the first) album that any new jazz acolyte purchases. The revolutionary SOFT SAX® STRAP actually helps reduce uncomfortable neck and shoulder pressure, fatigue and bounce. The innovative design incorporates neoprene with a comfort-stretch backing. This combination allows the weight of your instrument to be evenly distributed over a larger area on your neck and shoulders while absorbing the shock of your movements. This is how the SOFT SAX® STRAP makes your instrument feel 50% lighter and 100% more comfortable. You’ll definitely feel the difference! The SOFT SAX® STRAP is available in three sizes: Regular 16.5" - 21" (41.9cm - 53.3cm), Junior 15" - 18" (38.1cm - 45.7cm) and X-Long 20.5" - 26" (52.1cm - 66cm).
