The order arrived promptly, undamaged. The horn is ready to go right out of the box. Fully loaded cleaning kit, reeds and a beginner mouthpiece. Very nice carrying case with additional straps.
Looks just like the picture. What you see is what you get. Very pretty two tone color to it which is nice for about the first 5 mins, until you start playing it, then you get over it. I never really understood why they make these horns look so pretty and flashy. Nobody cares what it looks like, its what it sounds like that's important. I think if I performed a piece and people came up to me afterwards and congradulated me on how pretty my horn was instead of how pretty I sounded, I'd be worried.
I have my own mouthpiece, etc, so what the horn sounds like when I play it isn't going to be the same for everyone, so I can't comment on that. But I will say it is definitely an intermediate horn. Lots of versitility for its price. Not stiff sounding or feeling. Excellent craftmanship for the price as well, very well built. Could make a good practice horn for a pro if they were looking for a side horn to reduce wear and tear on their main sax. Could make a great step up for an amateur on a budget, or advanced student.
I like it a lot.

Bought this for my son. He is a freshman in high school band. Played a student sax for a while. Graduated to this sax. Well made and sounds great.
