| | Description | FINALLY. A SENSIBLE, STYLISH CASE THAT OUTPERFORMS WOOD AND PLASTIC. When we set out to develop a new case, we knew it had a lot to live up to. That’s why we spent 3 years thinking through every detail of the RB Continental — a revolutionary fusion of strength and style. The RB Continental’s water-resistant ballistic Quadraweave™ exterior surrounds a lightweight Flexoskeleton™ protection system of 1” thick high-density foam and EVA impact panels that offers unparalleled protection. Inside, a velvet tuck interior lining and thick Softmesh-lined side panels cradle your instrument in a cocoon of scuff-proof luxury. And its zippered “quick stash” exterior pocket, Zero G palm-contoured handle with weight distributing foam core, knurled abrasion grid on bottom to resist scuffing, and removeable backpack straps are designed for getting around in the real world. The RB Continental is everything you’d expect from Reunion Blues, at a price that’s almost too good to be true. | |

Great alto sax case Jan 26, 2011
By Ken Bought this case to replace our current box case that came with our alto sax. My son was always banging the old case on door jambs, car doors, etc, but this case has a soft exterior, is compact in size yet provides all the protection our valuable instrument needs. It comes with a shoulder strap, making it easy to carry to school along with his book bag. The handle is very well padded, comfortable & perfectly balanced. I foresee many years of reliable service out of this case. You won't go wrong buying this one.
Follow-up (1 year on): Although I still like this case very much, my son has gone back to using his hard case for everyday use at school. Teenagers still bang around their instruments too much to use this case in a band room and to/from on the school bus. I had to repair his sax due to it getting knocked out of alignment twice. It works well for recitals & lessons though, just not everyday school use. It's a good case for adults or older kids who are careful with their instrument. I'm sure we will get much more use from this case in a few years.

Originally released in 1959, Miles Davis's magnum opus Kind of Blue is still considered by many to be one of the greatest albums of all time. Starring Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb, Kind of Blue has held onto its status as an album that crosses genres, speaks to generations, and is one of the first (if not the first) album that any new jazz acolyte purchases. The revolutionary SOFT SAX® STRAP actually helps reduce uncomfortable neck and shoulder pressure, fatigue and bounce. The innovative design incorporates neoprene with a comfort-stretch backing. This combination allows the weight of your instrument to be evenly distributed over a larger area on your neck and shoulders while absorbing the shock of your movements. This is how the SOFT SAX® STRAP makes your instrument feel 50% lighter and 100% more comfortable. You’ll definitely feel the difference! The SOFT SAX® STRAP is available in three sizes: Regular 16.5" - 21" (41.9cm - 53.3cm), Junior 15" - 18" (38.1cm - 45.7cm) and X-Long 20.5" - 26" (52.1cm - 66cm). Measurments are taken from the back of the neck to the bottom of the hook. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Vandoren Alto Saxophone Reeds #2.5, Box of 10 | Rico Royal Alto Sax Reeds, Strength 2.5, 10-pack | Vandoren Tenor Saxophone Reeds #3, Box of 5 | | | | | | | | | | Designed to produce a quality of pure sound due to a very thin reed tip, balanced by a solid vertical column.
