Got these for my son who uses them for playing the sax in high school marching band. He said they are okay marching band. but prefers these for playing in concert band as he felt the synthetic reeds we too easy to squeak.
Vandoren's; always top notch Nov 02, 2011
By TheMusicDude Vandoren has always been my brand of choice when it comes to saxophone reeds, they simply never disappoint. Music stores unfortunately are a bit dishonest due to this, no matter what state I move to they always complain about Vandoren bumping the price up and charge $8+ for a single reed. For less than $20 this is a great price, it's well worth to get these over the lower quality products on the market like Rico reeds. Some music stores oddly enough don't carry anything over a thickness of 3 so it's great being able to order these online.
Great deal, better than buying local Jul 21, 2011
By Lectronicguy Was buying these locally at a great price and then the company started charging a "lot" more for them. Started ordering them here and getting a lot better deal.
